Northeast Region:

A low pressure system will be headed to the Mid-Atlantic States today, then moving upward towards the Northeast later today and tonight.

South:

Florida may see some much needed rain today with scattered thunderstorms. Parts of Texas and Oklahoma will continue to feel some more hot weather today.

Another hot day today for parts of California where temperatures were recorded at 120 degrees on Monday in Death Valley. The good news, this should be the last day of that heat.
